About Me

Annette Smith
Mesa, Arizona, United States
The beauty of the world around me is my inspiration, be it landscape, floral, or the human figure, these are things I respond to and feel compelled to paint. I create for the pure enjoyment of putting paint to paper or canvas, and strive to capture the simple essence of my subject matter. I work in oil, pastel, and watercolor, and use rich, bright colors to express what I wish to say. Phil Beck, John Michael Carter, Robert Lemler, Henry Yan, Tony Pro, and Ted Nuttall are incredible artists whom I had the wonderful opportunity to have studied under. I enjoy sharing my work with you, if you have any questions contact me at smithers8734@yahoo.com
